My angel

Have you ever seen an Angel?

I was on my way to student teaching about 4 years ago. It was a sunny day but there was still snow on the roads from a quick storm we had a day ago. The roads I took to this little rural school were not always the best so I knew to be careful. When I hit the top of a hill and looked down I knew I was in trouble. In the other lane was an Amish horse drawn buggy. In MY lane was a little white car trying to pass the slow moving vehicle. I tried to pump my brakes but a pill of snow and slush made it impossible.
I started to slide and by instinct I yanked my wheel to the right sending me up the embankment. I rode on that for a second, destroying a small tree in my path. Then I start to come (tip) back down. All I can remember it looking out my side window and seeing the road going very fast right beside me. I knew I was going to roll and I could also see the window shattering. I said something with a help in it and I know God was in there somewhere. Suddenly the car went from a total tipping to the left motion to getting slammed up right on all 4 wheels.
I looked up to see my car sliding toward the Amish man with his horse and buggy. No, please God. And then my car stopped just a couple feet from him. It stopped dead in the snow and slush. I sat with my hands clutching the wheel. A man jumped out of his car and said “That idiot could have killed you! I am going to try to catch him.” I slowly nodded my head and clutched my wheel harder. Not sure how long I sat there. Seemed like forever but I know it was only seconds until a kind man came out to pull my car into his drive way, off the road. I called for help and my car actually was ok. Seems that little tree got the worse of it. Latter that day I kept thinking about what had happened. “You should have rolled that car.” Everyone who came kept saying. “Yeah I would say.” I tried to tell them that it was rolling but something pushed it back. I should have hit the Amish man but something stopped the car. I know it was angels.
